Slow Rollercoasters

Lesson: Design and technology

Class: Year 5B Year: 2025 - 2026

Year 5 loved learning about, designing and making our slow rollercoasters. We looked at real rollercoasters from around the world and then made the different pieces we needed ro create our rollercoaster. We tested our track using a marble and then raced to see who had made the slowest rollercoaster in the class. Finally, we evaluated our rollercoaster and thought about our learning, what went well and what we would improve next time.
