Extra-Curricular Clubs 2026- 2027
Autumn 1 Extra-Curricular Clubs Round-Up
Our Autumn 1 after-school clubs have provided children with fantastic opportunities to develop new skills, pursue their interests and enjoy learning beyond the classroom. It has been wonderful to see so many pupils taking part with enthusiasm and commitment.
π± Year 1 Gardening Club
Our Year 1 gardeners have had a busy and productive half term. The children planted their own bulbs to take home, learning about the care and attention plants need to grow successfully. They also visited the KS2 Peace Patch, where they worked together to weed and prepare the area ready for future planting. The club has encouraged pupils to develop their understanding of the natural world while enjoying practical, hands-on learning outdoors.
π§ Year 2 Yoga Club
Yoga Club has been a fantastic way for Year 2 pupils to relax and recharge after a busy school day. Throughout the term, the children have developed their balance, flexibility and mindfulness. One of the highlights was designing their own alphabet-inspired yoga poses, which showcased their creativity, confidence and ability to explain their ideas clearly to others.
π΅ KS1 and KS2 Choir
Members of both choirs have worked incredibly hard throughout the half term in preparation for their Harvest Festival performance. Their dedication during rehearsals has been evident, and it has been a pleasure to watch their confidence and musical skills grow. The children performed beautifully and represented the school with pride.
π Year 5 and 6 Basketball Club
Basketball Club has continued to be a popular choice among our older pupils. Throughout the term, the children have developed their passing, shooting and teamwork skills through a variety of activities and games. Most importantly, they have demonstrated excellent sportsmanship while enjoying being active and having fun with their friends.
We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by all the children attending our Autumn 1 clubs. Their willingness to try new experiences, develop their talents and work together has made this half term a great success. We look forward to seeing even more children get involved in the exciting opportunities planned for the rest of the year. π
