A very warm welcome to you all! What an enthralling year of learning we have in store for you here in 4S. Mr Sloan is very excited to get started and help you all on what promises to be a wonderful learning journey. Don't forget, 4S is the home of the 'biscuit amazing award,' where Mr Sloan will distribute this special prize to recognise students who show an inquisitive nature.

Reading and Homework

Every child will bring home a reading book, which they need to read each evening. Please note down in the yellow books which page they read up to and sign it for that day. All reading folders need to be in school with your child every day.

PE

Throughout year 4 we go swimming every Monday morning. Children will require a swimming costume or swim shorts and a towel. If your child has longer hair they will need a swim cap too and these can be bought online. Please ensure you also remove your childs earrings and any other jewellery.

PE lessons will be on a Thursday. Please make sure your child has the correct PE kit each week. This will be trainers or pumps, a white t-shirt and black shorts or joggers.
