Year 6 Leavers' Trip

On Friday our Year 6 children enjoyed a fantastic Leavers’ Trip, providing a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the end of their primary school journey together and create memories that will last a lifetime.
The day began with a visit to the cinema, where the children watched Toy Story 5. There was great excitement as they settled into their seats with friends, ready to enjoy the latest adventure from the much-loved franchise. The film gave everyone plenty to talk about and set the tone for a fun-filled day.
After the cinema, we headed to Tenpin for an afternoon of bowling. Lanes were filled with friendly competition, laughter and encouragement as the children cheered one another on and celebrated strikes, spares and some very creative bowling techniques! It was wonderful to see the pupils enjoying spending time together and making the most of their final weeks as a year group.
No celebration would be complete without food, and the children thoroughly enjoyed a lunch of pizza and fries between games. The meal provided a chance for everyone to relax, chat and reflect on their time together at Mount Carmel.
Throughout the entire trip, the behaviour of our Year 6 pupils was truly exemplary. They represented the school exceptionally well, demonstrating the maturity, kindness and respect that have been hallmarks of their time with us. Staff were immensely proud of the way the children conducted themselves both at the cinema and at Tenpin.
Most importantly, the children had a fabulous time together. As their time at primary school draws to a close, the trip provided a special opportunity to celebrate friendships, share laughter and mark the end of an important chapter before moving on to the exciting challenges and opportunities of secondary school.
We are incredibly proud of all our Year 6 pupils and look forward to celebrating their many achievements as they prepare for the next stage of their journey. We wish them every success and know they will continue to make us proud in the years to come.
