Year 6 Jesuit Values Canvases
Date: 20th Jul 2026 @ 12:22pm
During their workshop with artist Belinda John, our Year 6 pupils chose to use their session in a very special way. Instead of creating individual pieces, they worked collaboratively to design and produce a series of beautiful canvases celebrating the Jesuit values we strive to grow in daily life at Mount Carmel.
Using mixed media, thoughtful colour choices and carefully planned symbolism, the children created striking visual representations of the values that guide our school community. Each canvas reflects a different aspect of the Jesuit tradition -from being grateful and generous to acting with compassion and curiosity.
The finished pieces are truly impressive. They show maturity, teamwork and a deep understanding of what these values mean in practice. We are delighted to share that the canvases will now be proudly displayed in our school hall, where they will inspire children, staff and families for years to come.
Year 6 should feel incredibly proud of what they have achieved. Their artwork is both beautiful and meaningful, and it captures the heart of our school.
