Year 6 Bread Making Bonanza!

Move over Great British Bake Off – Year 6 have been busy proving (and kneading!) that we’ve got some budding bakers of our own!

As part of our learning this term, Year 6 explored the fascinating process of bread making. From understanding the science behind yeast and dough rising, to learning about the different stages of baking, the children got hands-on experience making their very own bread rolls from scratch.

The school was filled with the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread as the children mixed, kneaded, shaped, and baked their creations.

We were incredibly impressed with the final results – golden, delicious, and uniquely designed. Watch out, Paul Hollywood – Year 6 might be coming for your handshake soon!
