World Mental Health Day

Date: 19th Oct 2026 @ 8:15pm

The children looked very bright and cheerful wearing yellow for World Mental Health Day. The children talked about and reflected on their feelings when given different situations and how important it is to talk to a trusted grown up about how they feel. We then thought about what makes us happy; there were lots of great ideas about what makes them happy like going to the beach, having the sun shining on their face, playing with their toys and even going on a rollercoaster! The children then drew what makes them happy on some bright yellow card and put it in our sunshine jar. When we look at our sunshine jar, it reminds us of things that make us happy if they are feeling a little sad.Mental Health Awareness October 2026.jpeg
