World Book Day

Fun was the name of the game on World Book Day. The children loved dressing up in their different costumes from their favourite stories or in their cosy pyjamas. We enjoyed participating in the Infant walk where children showed off their wonderful costumes before heading back to class where we made spring bookmarks, made our own books about the day and Dropped Everything And Read at different points in the day. Children also shared some of their favourite books and we even had a mystery reader in the form of The Paper Dolls aka Mrs Flanagan who came to read to Owl Class. It was a wonderful way to share and spread our love of reading!
