Understanding OS Maps!

Date: 1st Oct 2026 @ 8:57am

Yet another fun afternoon of Geography for 4S!

In this lesson, we used 4 figure grid references to help find landmarks on an Ordinance Survey Map. No easy feat and, yet the children worked together and discovered the exact refernce for Mount Snowdon, as well as other key landmarks.

You all smashed it and, as I am sure you can tell, we had lots of fun! :) Well done everybody!

Welcome to Mount Carmel RC Primary; a place where we proclaim Christ’s message of hope and celebrate the uniqueness of each child.
