Tower Challenge

This morning we worked in our houses to complete the Tower Challenge. We used all our Voice 21 techniques to listen to each other and work together. We only used newspaper and sellotape and we tried to create the tallest freestanding tower.

Firstly, we built the best tower we could. St Matthew's tower was the tallest at 103cm. Then we learned more about strengthening techniques and tried to improve our towers. Everybody made their tower taller. St Matthew's was still the tallest at 111cm. St Clare's had the most improvement of 78cm.

We had lots of fun and learned about tall structures.
