The Parable of the Wedding Feast - Class Liturgy
Date: 16th Oct 2026 @ 11:03am

Year 6C, thank you for leading such a thoughtful and meaningful class liturgy. You approached the celebration with reverence, respect and maturity, helping us all to reflect on the message of Matthew 22:1–14.
In this Gospel, Jesus tells the parable of the wedding banquet. The king invites many guests to a special celebration, but some refuse to come. The story reminds us that God invites everyone to be part of His Kingdom and to share in His love. However, we must be willing to respond to His invitation, not simply with words, but through our actions.
You explained our mission for this week clearly and helped us to understand how we can put this message into practice by welcoming others, showing kindness, forgiving those who hurt us and making choices that reflect Jesus’ teachings. God’s invitation is open to everyone, and we are called to respond with faith, love and a willingness to do what is right.
Thank you for helping us to reflect on this important message and for reminding us that we are all invited to be part of God’s family. May we continue to live out the Gospel values in our classroom, our school and our everyday lives.
Well done!
