The Beatles

This term, our class composer is The Beatles.

We have been learning about them in our music sessions. 
To support our learning, Mr Coogan came in to talk to us all about how the Beatles began. He started by telling us about how music has changed from when he was a young boy; from singing around the piano, buying his first record, the radio and now today we have lots of ways of listening to our favourite songs such as YouTube and Spotify.

He showed us a vinyl record and explained how it works, then popped it on the record player. The vinyl only had one song on it, until albums were created with more songs. We all sat and listened intently as he spoke all about his love for music; especially The Beatles.
