Stepping into Spring

This week the children took part in lots of activities involving flowers to welcome in the season of Spring. This included making their own flower pictures, making natural perfumes and pegging petals onto numbered flower buds. They also opened up their own garden centre as this week they were learning about money. They learn the value of the different coins and used them to buy seeds and flowers in their garden centre. The children also enjoyed spending Tuesday morning with their mums to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday. They were able to paint their nails, make bracelets, decorate biscuits and create their own crowns and pictures.
