Stations of the Cross
Date: 9th Apr 2026 @ 8:39pm
Our Year 6 children led a moving and deeply reverent Stations of the Cross, first for KS2 and later for their parents. This annual tradition is always a powerful and reflective part of Holy Week, offering everyone a chance to pause and remember the events that led to Jesus’ death.
The children approached this solemn journey with remarkable maturity, guiding us through each station with prayer, moments of silence, and thoughtful reflection. Their careful preparation and heartfelt participation created an atmosphere of reverence and contemplation, allowing everyone present to engage meaningfully with the story of Christ’s passion.
The thoughtful prayers, quiet reflection, and reverent guidance of the children reminded us all of the importance of pausing amid the busyness of life to reflect on faith, compassion and sacrifice. It was a beautiful way to deepen our understanding of Holy Week and to honor the journey of Jesus with grace and reverence.
