Sculptures

This half term we have been designing and making sculptures. The children have looked at sculptures from Clifton Country Park and they used the sculptures as the inspiration for their own sketching and designs. the children experimented and used different techniques with clay e.g.  rolling, pinching, creating holes and hollows, smoothing, adding pieces, carving and scratching details to clay with tools. The children then made their sculptures with clay and then painted on their designs.
