Rivers

Last term we looked at the topic of rivers. We have revised our knowledge of continents and oceans in the world. We have looked at rivers around the world and in the UK. We acted out the water cycle and learnt about the sections and features along the course of a river.

We were so excited to explore and do some fieldwork at Bolton Abbey- looking at the River Wharfe.

We looked at a range of different maps, explored three sections of the river (especially at the speed of erosion at different sections) before creating our own map using natural resources.
