Celebrating Growth and Resilience: A Year 6 Performance to Remember
This week, our 6S took to the stage to deliver a powerful and inspiring performance, showcasing just how far they have come on their resilience journey. Over the past few years, from Year 3 through to Year 6, the children have been working closely with Kate Brown as part of a dedicated resilience programme designed to build confidence, emotional awareness, and perseverance.
The performance was a reflection of this journey—highlighting the challenges they have faced, the skills they have developed, and the strength they have discovered within themselves. Through drama, storytelling, and teamwork, the pupils demonstrated not only their growth but also their ability to support one another and overcome obstacles.
A special audience joined them for this meaningful event: our current Year 3 pupils. Watching the performance gave them a glimpse into the journey that lies ahead—one filled with opportunities to grow, reflect, and build resilience of their own. It was a wonderful way to connect the year groups and inspire the younger children as they begin their own path through the programme.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 pupils for their courage, honesty, and creativity. We know the skills the have gained through this programme will support them in the next step of their journey as they embark on the transition to secondary school in the coming months.
Well done, Year 6!
