Pizza Express Trip

We had the most fantastic time on our trip to Pizza Express to enhance our Autumn term Pizza topic. The children arrived full of excitement! We remembered all the ingredients needed to make a perfect pizza: dough, passata, cheese, oregano and pepper. Everyone rolled up their sleeves, spread the passata carefully over their bases, sprinkled their cheese, and added a delicious touch of oregano and garlic oil. The best part came next — waiting patiently for them to cook before sitting outside together to enjoy our creations. They were absolutely delicious, and there were lots of happy, tomato‑smeared smiles.

As a special bonus, we had time for an unexpected adventure. Mr Coogan kindly took us on a fascinating tour around Manchester Cathedral, sharing his incredible knowledge about what life was like in Manchester during the Bronze and Iron Age. We saw the National Football Museum and lots of the Manchester Bees!

A huge thank you to Mr Coogan — your passion for History made the past come alive for us. What an inspiring day of learning, exploring, and tasting. Year 3, you were amazing!
