People who help us

During our people who help us topic we have been lucky to have some visitors in school!

The dental health nurse came to talk to us about keeping our teeth and mouth healthy. She demonstrated how to brush our teeth and we discussed foods that are healthy and unhealthy for our teeth. We even explored some tools the dentist will use when we go to see them. Our children were very knowledgable about the foods that we should eat to keep our teeth healthy and could explain about good oral hygiene.

Our next visit was from our local PCSO came into talk to us about how she helps keep us safe in our community and talked about the equipment she uses to keep herself safe too. We tired on her heavy protective vest and we were even lucky enough to hear someone talk to her over the radio. She told us that she stops cars parking near school in the morning to help us cross the roads safely.
