✨ Our Beautiful Celebration of St Peter and St Paul
Date: 1st Jul 2026 @ 11:48am
Yesterday was a truly special day in Year 3. Our amazing Gift Team led us in a joyful and thoughtful Celebration of the Word for the Festival of St Peter and St Paul.
They worked with such care and creativity to plan our worship. They chose the songs that lifted our voices, the prayers that helped us pause and think, and the symbols that reminded us of the courage and faith of these two great saints.
To make our worship space feel even more special, the team placed a bright red cloth on the altar. On top of it, they arranged a Bible, a glowing candle, a cross, and a gentle statue of Mary. Each item helped us focus our hearts and minds, showing us that this was a moment set apart.
After our worship indoors, we walked quietly to the Prayer Shelter outside. The sunshine, the breeze, and the peaceful space helped everyone slow down. The children took time to think, to pray, and to reflect on what St Peter and St Paul teach us about bravery, kindness, and sharing God’s love.
It was a beautiful moment of stillness. A moment where Year 3 showed how thoughtful, respectful, and reflective they can be.
