Oracy in English

In English, Year 5 have watched a silent film and worked on adding dialogue to scenes. On Thursday, we debated in groups about synonyms for said and which words were most appropriate for the different conversations we had created. We presented our ideas to the class with flair and passion, building on and challenging each other to consider different viewpoints. We reached a group consensus by working together, actively listening with respect and presenting our thoughts clearly and carefully.
