NEW TOPIC - Island Life

Our new topic this term is all about Islands. In our topic launch, we started by eating some beautiful tropical fruit. Then we watched a video all about how to survive alone on a desert island, and we acted out some of the different skills like hunting! We decided on the best ways to get help, and we wrote our own message in a bottle. Then we saw a helicopter flying overhead, so we organised ourselves into a massive HELP sign so they could see us. We finished by looking at some true or false questions all about islands. Did you know the biggest island in the world is Java? We can't wait to learn more!
