Matilda the Musical

Our Year 6 pupils delivered an exceptional performance this week with their production of Matilda, presented over two highly successful evenings. Under the expert guidance of Mrs Borg Fenech and Miss Parry, the Drama Team demonstrated impressive skill in acting, singing and dancing. Their commitment and enthusiasm were evident throughout, creating a polished and engaging performance that delighted families and staff alike.

The production was enriched by the Junior Choir, whose musical support added depth and warmth to the show. Led by Mrs Brocklehurst, Miss Leonard and Mrs Ballard, the choir performed with confidence and clarity, contributing significantly to the overall success of the event.

The visual elements of the production were equally impressive. Mrs Ford and Mrs Du Plessi provided outstanding props and costumes that enhanced the storytelling and brought the characters to life. Their creativity and hard work ensured that every scene was visually striking and true to the spirit of the story.

This production was a joyful celebration of the children’s talents. The humour, energy and teamwork displayed across both evenings made Matilda a standout moment in our school year. We extend our sincere thanks to all staff and pupils involved
