Making Chapattis

Our new story 'Chapatti Moon' is about Mrs Kapoor who loves cooking masalas, samosas, pakoras using lots of delicious ingredients. She also loves making chapattis. Miss Yasin came into Reception to show the children how to make chapattis. They learnt that the two ingredients needed are flour and water. They helped to put some flour and water into a bowl and mix it together. Some children helped to roll it into a ball before rolling it flat and round with a rolling pin. It was then cooked in the pan before we enjoyed tasting it. The children's verdict was 'Yummy!'
