Large Scale Mark Making

Date: 23rd Sep 2026 @ 11:11am

The children in Reception have enjoyed making marks outside using water.
To help them prepare for writing, children need to build strong muscles from their shoulders down to their wrists. Outdoor mark-making is a fantastic way to practice these gross motor skills. The children had so much fun sweeping the floors, rolling the walls, and scrubbing the playground furniture with water!

Welcome to Mount Carmel RC Primary; a place where we proclaim Christ’s message of hope and celebrate the uniqueness of each child.
