KS2 Festive Music Afternoon - 15th December

On Monday, the Junior Department enjoyed a wonderful festive music afternoon. Each class performed a selection of Christmas songs, creating a joyful and celebratory atmosphere.

Year 3 impressed the audience by playing several tunes on the recorder, a skill they have been learning and practising all term with Mrs Osbourne. Year 5 performed confidently on the glockenspiel, sharing music they had composed themselves during their music lessons. Alongside these performances, there was a variety of much-loved Christmas hymns sung by the children.

Parents and families were warmly welcomed to the event and enjoyed hot drinks and mince pies while watching the performances. The afternoon concluded with two special performances from our KS2 choir, which were a real highlight.

It was a truly joyous afternoon and a lovely way to celebrate the festive season together.
