Reception have been busy celebrating their families! Inspired by Quentin Blake’s distinctive illustration style, the children used a range of materials including charcoal, felt-tip pens, pencils and biro to create their lively family portraits. They carefully developed their pencil control, showing increasing confidence in drawing detailed features and adding thoughtful finishing touches to their work. We are incredibly proud of their creativity and concentration. You will be able to see your child’s portrait proudly displayed in the classroom.
