Geography Explorers!

This week, Year 3 embarked on an exciting new Geography journey as we began learning all about the United Kingdom. Using our iPads and Google Earth, we became virtual explorers, travelling across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to discover some of their famous landmarks.

The children were fascinated by the different places they visited and enjoyed spotting well-known sights from around the UK. As we explored, we started to think about the places we would most like to visit and discussed our reasons why. There were lots of wonderful ideas, from exploring bustling cities and historic castles to enjoying beautiful countryside and coastlines.

It was lovely to see the children's curiosity and enthusiasm as they learned more about the countries that make up the United Kingdom. We are looking forward to continuing our geographical adventures and discovering even more about the amazing places that are right on our doorstep! 🌍
