As part of our D&T curriculum, 5W have been learning how to create ginger bread biscuits.
We began by learning about ginger as a spice, where it can be found in the world and other foods you may find ginger as an ingredient.
Children learnt how to correctly measure ingredients using scales, and cookery techniques, using a variety of equipment, to create a correct doughy biscuit mix, roll out and cut into Christmas biscuit shapes.
