Boys Don't Cry - Year 6 Drama Therapy Workshop
Date: 20th Oct 2026 @ 7:43am
Our Year 6 boys recently took part in a special workshop called ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, led by our Drama Therapist, Kate Brown.
The workshop provided the boys with a safe and supportive space to explore their feelings and think about some of the reasons why boys may sometimes find it difficult to talk about their emotions or share when something is worrying them.
Through discussion and drama-based activities, the boys were encouraged to recognise that talking about how we feel is a sign of strength. They reflected on the importance of sharing worries with trusted adults and friends, rather than keeping difficult feelings to themselves.
It was a valuable opportunity for our boys to develop their emotional awareness, confidence and understanding of how important it is to look after their own wellbeing and support one another.
A huge thank you to Kate for leading such an important and thought-provoking session with our Year 6 pupils.
