Big Bedtime Read

Reception were very excited to come to school in their pyjamas and carrying their teddies for the Big Bedtime Read. They listened to We're Going on a Bear Hunt before going on their own bear hunt. They had to walk through wavy grass, a cold river, squelchy mud, a forest, a snowstorm before finding the bear in the cave! The children were very excited and loved acting out the story. Afterwards, the children made their own bear masks, enjoyed a cookie and some juice before sitting down and listening to Michael Rosen read 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt.' Reception love books and they love reading!
