Anti-Bullying Week
Date: 17th Nov 2025 @ 10:11am
Last week it was Anti-Bullying Week and we were thinking about the theme, Use Your Power for Good. We created a kindness chain, which we put on our altar to lift up our kind actions to God. We also wrote a class poem using "Use Your Power for Good" as an acrostic poem:
Use Your Power For Good by 5B
Under the noise you keep your mouth shut, but that’s wrong, you should shout out now
Speak up and do not take your power for granted
Emerge from the shadows and come clean
You should tell a teacher
Once your voice is ready to be heard, let it be heard
Use kind words to other people, don’t let them hurt you
Row down your fears, don’t let it hurt you
Power for good, read it like a book
Obtain your power, don’t retaliate
When you’re down, you’re not a clown
Earn your respect, don’t let them be mean, everyone’s different and we are all unique
Resilient: be kind and don’t hurt or bully others
Forgive, don’t let it build up
Our neighbours may fall out with us but don’t fall out with them; be a good neighbour
Respect one another like you want to be treated
Go share, don’t bully
Only be kind and generous to others
One person can make a difference
Don’t hide your face, always go out in the open
