A Magical Evening at Our Big Bedtime Read

On a cold January evening, our children returned to school under the glow of the winter darkness for our much-loved annual Big Bedtime Read. Wrapped up warm and dressed in their cosy pyjamas, the children settled in for a bedtime story experience to remember.

With a comforting drink, a biscuit and their favourite cuddly toy by their side, the school was filled with the quiet joy of shared stories and imagination. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and full of excitement as children enjoyed reading in a relaxed and cosy setting.

While the children immersed themselves in their books, parents were invited to join Mrs Walley for an informative and engaging presentation on the power of reading and the importance of phonics in supporting early literacy. It was a valuable opportunity to celebrate how reading together at home can make a lasting difference.

The Big Bedtime Read was a truly wonderful evening, bringing together children, parents and staff to celebrate the joy of reading and the magic of stories. We look forward to many more special reading moments in the future.
