3 weeks of hard work!

Date: 20th Sep 2026 @ 12:47pm

The last 3 weeks have been all about settling into excellent routines, re-establishing the school rules and getting to know our teachers.

However, that hasn't stopped us from powering through tons of amazing work! As a year group, we've been focusing on place value and mental methods for subtraction during our numeracy lessons. We've delved deeply into the grammar and literature of our class reading focus, The Lost Happy Endings, (a personal favourite of Mr Sloan!) and we've also had lots of fun in our mountains topic for geography and electricity focus during science.

Take a look at some of our wonderful work on our recently updated displays. The children are a credit and have settled in beautifully. Keep it up, team! :)
