Admission to our school.
Parents and carers who wish to apply for a place for their child at Mount Carmel are welcome to make an appointment to visit the school.
Should you require any support submitting your application for a place for your child, please let the school know and we will be happy to help.
The Admission Authority for our school is the Governing Body: they make the decisions about admissions to our school. All Admissions will be made in accordance with the school's Admission Policy.
The deadline for Reception 2026 school applications is Thursday 15th January 2026.

Admission to Nursery
An integral part of our school is our Nursery; we offer places for 39 children and follow the same criteria for admission to the school.
Please note that an offer of a place in the Nursery does not guarantee a place in the Reception class. For further information please call the school office

If you would like to request a place for your child, please complete the Admissions form from the school office.
Appeals
If you don't get your preferred school, and you think there are important reasons why your child should go there, you can appeal. Please see the link for further details on the appeals process.
