Mrs Dennis

Welcome to Y3D

Welcome to Year 3!

In our classroom this year we are ready to learn and have fun together. Throughout the year we have lots of exciting subjects to learn about. We are learning about animals and humans in science, making pizzas in DT, paper sculptures in art, dragons in english, volcanoes in geography, Ancient Egypt in history and many more too! Mrs Donnelly will be helping us to grow and supporting our learning.

Useful Websites To Help Our Children: - Times Tables Rockstars. Same as last year and great for practising time tables. - A useful tool in teaching  and consolidating a variety of topics and areas with many interactive games. Some games are NOT tablet-friendly so make sure you read and check. - Parents can sign up for a number of free resources.  - Some really useful starting points to help find out more about your topics. - Another excellent source for topics. - Stone Age BBC Bitesize - BBC Bitesize: How did Hunter-Gatherers live? - A brilliant place with further links to other areas of our Autumn History Topic - From the Stone Age to the Iron Age. Science resource containing a wide range of topics and information to help with any project work.
