Welcome to the the class page of Y2S. Here you can keep up to date with important information about our class, including assemblies, outings, homework as well as all the amazing things we can look forward to learning together throughout this year. In Y2S we learn together through faith and love with Mr Stewart, Mrs Wilson, Mrs Goode and Miss Comberbach.

Our Curriculum in Y2

Homework and Reading in Y2S

Our homework days are as follows:

Monday - Maths homework due in from Friday. Reading books signed and up to date and in school ready to be changed. Spellings homeowrk handed out for the week.

Tuesday - Reading books signed and in school ready to be checked by Mr Stewart. Spellings for Tuesday completed (but these do not need to be checked in school)  

Wednesday - Reading books signed and in school ready to be checked by Mr Stewart. Spellings for Wednesday completed (but these do not need to be checked in school) 

Thursday - Reading books signed and in school ready to be checked by Mr Stewart. Spellings for Thursday completed (but these do not need to be checked in school) 

Friday - spellings homework due in ready for spelling test Friday morning. Maths homework given out due in on Mondays. Reading books signed and in school ready to be checked by Mr Stewart. 

PE in Y2S

In Y2S P.E. kits need to be in school ready for P.E. lessons on Thursdays and Fridays. This year pupils will be getting changed in school. They will need to arrive in school uniform on these days. They will be sent home every half term to be washed but please ensure P.E. kits are in school the first week back.
